This document is one of the results of the Broadband Working Group promoted by the Association’s Board of Directors.
The guide aims to be an instrument that contributes to eliminating the digital divide in the mountain of Navarra.
The guide consists of eleven chapters, divided into two parts:
- The first chapters They are aimed at the general public, And they explain in a summary and didactic way the most common consultations on broadband and connectivity, such as the types of broadband networks, their capacity and the services they can support, as well as commercial content distribution models over the Internet.
- The second part is aimed at local entities, in which the management models are exposed of a telecommunications network, and regional plans and national for network deployment.
- The last chapters include the most important aspects of the current legislation Regarding the deployment of broadband telecommunications networks.
This guide is a living document, which will be updated with new contributions and the novelties of the new General Telecommunications Law, whose preliminary project is in the processing phase. The publication of the guide coincides with the presentation of the 2020-2024 Broadband Plan of Government of Navarra.
