This guide collects 45 examples of good practices of circular economy projects launched in the rural environment of Navarra, among which 12 projects of the Navarra mountain stand out.
Each project sheet includes a small description of it and its main environmental, economic and social values, pillars of rural local development. Likewise, the sheets relate each project to one or more of the United Nations defined by the United Nations SDGs for 2030.
As an introduction, the guide briefly collects and explains the 17 SDGs.
This guide is one of the results “Circular Navarra”, Cooperation project financed between Lursarea (Navarra Agency for Sustainability) and local action groups to implement circular economy actions in rural areas under the LEADER approach. This project is funded by the Government of Navarra Rural Development Department.
Cederna Garalur thanks all the entities and people who collaborated in the collection of information for the preparation and selection of the good practice projects. Although the guide only collects 12 cases of circular economy in the mountains of Navarra, Cederna Garalur keeps information on 22 projects. We encourage interested persons to contact the association to know all the information.
