Cederna Garalur is a Local Action Group, born in 1991, with the aim of promoting the socioeconomic development of the “Mountain of Navarre”, that is to say, the supporting policies and actions of local and comarcal that will significantly improve the quality of life of the people, strengthen the network of public and private services to retain and attract the population to rural areas.
As a Local Action Group, the added value of Cederna Garalur to the Mountain of Navarra is your daily work in close collaboration with the agents of political, economic and social of the Mountain of Navarre, and creating synergy between these agents. In this way, throughout its more than 25 years of existence, the Association Cederna Garalur has become in an indispensable tool in the local development, which brings together the knowledge of the territory, identifying needs, sharing experiences, offering solutions and optimizing resources.
To do this, we employ a methodology of a particular job, “the LEADER approach“, which drives the global strategies of a territory by working at the local level, involving the agents of social, political, and economic to define between them all, the model of development that you want in a territory.
